Get The Look: Go Bold or Go Natural

As the world begins to open back up, we’re ready to celebrate by showing off all the fun makeup looks we’ve been dreaming of this past year. Are you feeling daring or demure? Bold or natural? Bold looks can draw attention to our best features, while a more natural look can be soft and low-key. We created a tutorial for both, so you can decide which look you want to try, depending on your mood:

Go Natural

1. Create a Fresh, Glowing Base

Apply the Tinted Face Stick as a base for moisturizing, lightweight coverage. Draw on the face in light strokes - on the forehead, cheeks, chin and bridge of the nose. For more coverage, use a heavier hand and more product. Flip the product to the opposite side and use the built-in sponge in small, circular motions to buff the formula into the skin.

Swipe the Highlight Stick in Maldives Luminescent onto the face in long, steady strokes where the light naturally accentuates your features: on the brow bone, cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupid’s bow. Flip the highlight stick to the opposite side and use the built-in sponge to delicately blend for a natural-looking glow.

2. Define and Set Your Brows

Use the Brow Pencil to define and gently fill sparse areas. Use the pencil’s tip to fill your inner brow (closer to your nose bridge) creating natural, precise strokes. Create definition along the edges, then switch to the square tip to fill in along the upper arch. Flip the product around to use the built-in gel formula. Use the long or short bristles of the gel brush to comb and set brows in place. The flexible-hold tinted gel grooms and sets hairs perfectly into place for a natural looking brow.

3. Give Your Eyes Soft Definition

Using the Shimmer Shadow Crayon in Kona Shimmer, glide directly onto the eyelid (with no primer necessary). For a classic all-over look, apply shadow over the eyelids completely and blend into the crease line. Turn the product to the opposite side and use the blending brush to shape and blend color as desired.

Apply the Eye Pencil in Swiss Chocolate using short, gentle strokes along the upper and lower lash lines. To blend, flip the pencil to the other side and use the smudger in small, controlled circles.

Coat your eyelashes with Good Vibes Mascara for a lifted, natural effect. Starting with the half-curler, push downward on the lever starting at the outer corner of the eye. Position your curler as close as possible to the lash line (without pinching skin). Push the lever down to curl and hold for 3-5 seconds. Move across the entire eye to curl every section for as much lift and curve as desired. Twist base of curler to access volumizing mascara. Apply mascara in broad strokes from the lash line outward.

4. Enhance Your Natural Lips

Using the Lip Glaze Crayon in Shell Beach Sheer (a soft, baby pink), apply the lip primer on the end of the crayon to lips for a smoothing, soft-focus effect. Then, swipe the glaze directly onto lips for shine and moisture. Layer to build color.

1. Even Your Skin Tone & Add Some Color

Apply our Tinted Face Stick as a base for moisturizing, buildable coverage. Draw on the face in strokes - on the forehead, cheeks, chin and bridge of the nose. For more coverage, use a heavier hand and more product. Flip the product to the opposite side and use the built-in sponge in small, circular motions to buff the formula into the skin.

Apply our Blush Stick in St. Barths Pink in strokes on the apples of the cheeks – where you naturally turn rosy. Turn the product to the opposite end and use the angled contour brush to blend the blush into skin in light, upward strokes. Add a few layers for more pigment and blend upward for more depth and dimension to your face.

2. Get Fuller-Looking Brows

Layer the tinted gel for a bolder and fluffier brow.

3. Bold And Smokey Dramatic Eyes

Use the Shimmer Shadow Crayon in Burgundy Shimmer (a lustrous, rich burgundy) for a new twist on a classic smokey eye. Glide directly onto the eyelid, no primer necessary. Apply shadow over eyelid completely. To achieve the more dramatic look, blend the shadow upward, above the crease. Use the shade Morimoto Shimmer in the inner corners of your eyes to brighten the look.

Apply our Eye Pencil in Santorini Black Sand to embrace your eyes’ full potential. Use short, even strokes to glide the creamy gel pencil along the upper and lower lash line. To blend, turn the pencil to the opposite side and use the smudger in small, controlled circles to smoke out your look. Remove the blender to find a built-in sharpening tool to create a finer point. Add a wing to your eyeliner on the outer corners to add more drama. A fine-point tip is ideal for the wing to create sharp, clean edges.

Coat your eyelashes with Good Vibes Mascara to enhance lashes for a curving, lengthening and volumizing effect. Using the half-curler, push downward on lever starting at outer corner of eye. Position the curler as close as possible to lash line (without pinching skin). Push lever down to curl and hold for 3-5 seconds. Move across entire eye to curl every section for as much lift and curve. Twist base of curler to access volumizing mascara. Apply mascara in broad strokes from the lash line outward. Coat until lashes are volumized and fuller.

4. Paint Your Pout

Using our Matte Lip Crayon in Florence Fig, apply the lip crayon using the point to line your lips, then use the side of the crayon to fill in the rest of your lips. Layer for a more intense color. Turn your product to the other end and apply the moisturizing balm over the matte color for a high-shine effect.
