Continuing our Tips & Tricks series, our team is here to share with you our top makeup tips, tricks and hacks using our favorite beauty products!
This week, Skylar from our social team shows us how to get the perfect smoky wing and faux freckles our Eye Pencil in Roman Bronze (her favorite shade for woman with olive/dark skin tones)! Read on for all her makeup tips and tricks.
Makeup Tip #1: Smoky Bronzed Wing
Start out by sharpening your pencil (with the built-in sharpener on the other end of the pencil) to prep the eyeliner for application. Starting where you want the wing of your liner to end, gently draw a line extending outward in short, light strokes toward the outer corner of your eye. Once you are happy with the angle of the bottom of the wing, draw over the line you created with a darker, precise line.
To create rest of the wing, start where your wing ends and draw a line that connects to your lashline. Then, simply fill in the triangle you created to complete the wing. Repeat steps on the other eye. Top off with some Good Vibes Mascara!
Makeup Tip #2: Get Line Your Lips
Yes you read that correctly! Our Eye Pencil is super creamy and versatile. The shade Roman Bronze is the perfect lip liner, especially for woman with olive and dark skin tones. Lightly follow the natural shape of your lips with the eyeliner. Put more pressure on the eyeliner if you want a more intense look.
**If you want a more glossy look, start with our Lip Glaze before you line your lips. Prime the lips with the built-in lip primer and then apply the buildable Lip Glaze for a finished, shiny lip look!
Makeup Tip #3: Create Sun-Kissed Faux Freckles
Creating fake freckles in the winter is a great way to get sun-kissed skin without damaging your skin. Using the Eye Pencil, lightly pepper small dots across your nose and cheeks in random spots. Once you are happy with the placement of the dots, use your fingers to blot out any harsh dots and make them look more natural. Top off with some highlighter on the cheekbones, et voilà, instant faux freckles to make your complexion glow!
