For this series, our team will be sharing with you our top makeup tips, tricks and hacks using our favorite beauty products!
This week, our Founder Jenn shows us how to get the perfect "no makeup" makeup look; a glowing complexion using our Tinted Face Stick (her shade is Tulum Nude) and our Highlight Sticks in shades Maldives Luminescent and Bondi Beach Glow. Read on for all the makeup tips and tricks!
Makeup Tip #1: Applying Highlighter Layer
For her first tip, is to take your highlighter (Jenn uses Maldives Luminescent) and draw it on your face in areas where the light would naturally hit to get the most natural glow!:
- In a triangle shape on the cheekbones
- The high points of your nose
- Center of the forehead
- Under the brow bone
- Top of the cupid's bow
- Center of chin
Makeup Tip #2: Blending Highlighter
When it comes to blending, you want to "warm up" your blending sponge (especially if it's brand new) by priming it with a little bit of product before using it on your face. You can put some product on your hand and and dab your hand with the sponge to pick up some product. This trick allows less product to be picked up from the skin and blends the highlighter seamlessly for a perfect glowing canvas!
Makeup Tip #3: Applying + Blending The Tinted Face Stick
For an even more natural-looking glow, layer your highlighter under your complexion products. First, apply the highlighter on all of the areas you normally would (where the light touches your skin). Then, take your Tinted Face Stick and apply all-over your face. Use the built-in blending sponge on the other end to buff in with the same priming technique above, this time with short sweeping motions.
