I was looking for the right shade for an everyday look. I love this one because it glides on easily and stays put.
I really love the Shadow Crayons! They come in beautiful colors, are easy to apply and most important of all is the fact that you can order a refill and not have to replace the whole thing. I really appreciate the fact that their product allows me to be more environmentally friendly! That’s what keeps me buying their product.

Smooth application
I like the shadow crayon--easy to apply, stays on well--but you can only buy the refill if you sign up for one of auto ship options. With so many companies out there pushing subscriptions, managing auto ship/auto renewals has become a full time job. Also, the twist up stops with about 1/2" of stick left in the applicator. Not one to waste anything, I put a bit of cotton underneath the remaining stick to raise it up so I can use it up :)

I do want to assure you that while refills are only available via Auto-refill, you can pause, cancel or modify your subscription at any time! You can also choose your preferred frequency to suit your personal usage of the product. The packaging is designed this way to ensure less tension and reduce the risk of breakage on the crayon. I was very excited to find an eyeshadow crayon without ingredients that bother my eyes. But when I used it alone on my eyelid or with a primer, it changed color to a funny green. Had to wash all my eye makeup off. I was very disappointed.

I have the shadow crayons in Baltic blue and chocolate and love them both! I like to use them as eyeliner and then use the brush to smoke them out for a softer look. They are also great for eyeshadow too of course. I would like to try more shades in the future!
