Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers and expiration date ), email address, phone number, and purchased marketing data. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

This privacy policy does not cover information that you submit on other websites, even if we communicate with you on those sites. For example, if you post something on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube, that information is governed by the privacy policies on those websites, and is not governed by this policy.


We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including  phone numbers, processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you  (including via SMS), including requests, inquiries, comments, and suggestions (including product tutorials);

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above, such as Shopify and Google Analytics. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive,  to protect the safety of our customers and website users or the public, or to otherwise protect trestique's rights or property.

We may share your information with a buyer or other successor, including during negotiations, in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about you is among the assets transferred.

While you do not need to change the Data Retention section it does not meet the industry norm.  You usually do not keep personally identifiable information until a customer asks for it to be deleted.  This may be a better way to handle:

As a result, your personal information may be processed in a foreign country where privacy laws may be less stringent than the laws in your country. Our retention periods for personal data are based on business needs and legal requirements. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Fathom Analytics

We want to process as little personal information as possible when you use our website. That's why we've chosen Fathom Analytics for our website analytics, which doesn't use cookies and complies with the GDPR, ePrivacy (including PECR), COPPA and CCPA. Using this privacy-friendly website analytics software, your IP address is only briefly processed, and we (running this website) have no way of identifying you. The purpose of us using this software is to understand our website traffic in the most privacy-friendly way possible so that we can continually improve our website and business. The lawful basis as per the GDPR is "Article 6(1)(f); where our legitimate interests are to improve our website and business continually."
